Art by Ella Hayward
For her baby Jesus painting, she used different brush strokes to make the yellow look like hay, and she painted Jesus to be very peaceful and calm!
Ella's inspiration was based on the drawn-out "Gloria" chorus - she's been belting that out since she was three (it's actually her favorite Christmas song). She named this painting " Glory to God in the highest?" The background was made to look like night, with the focus on the angels singing glory to Jesus. She didn’t include the wise men or shepherds in the painting because she wanted the glory to be on Jesus.
